fuckyeahtattoos: When my wife and I got engaged, we decided not to get an engagement ring since we do not support the diamond industry in general. Instead we made the decision to get a meaningful tattoo that can last forever with us. It’s a branch of Bur Oak, a tree species that we both like and has much meaning in our life together. We did the design and the placement together. It was done by the visiting artist Madame CHaN from Belgium (who was talented and amazing) at Tattoo Culture in New York City.
